Up until now, Lindsay Lohan’s sibling Ali has been a model in the same way as Clint Howard is an actor. Posing for her sister’s lines of clothing and making the occasional cameo in other places, she’s built up a portfolio without ever really landing any major gigs. Cut to PRVCY Premium. The exclusive denim line has named the seventeen year old as the face of the brand’s new 2012 relaunch.

Sporting dirty blonde hair, a denim vest, jeans, white shirt and an apathetic look, Ali, now going by Aliana, looks surprisingly normal and girl next door-ish in the first spread released from the line. Take a look at the picture, published in a special advanced preview on E! below…

The first thing that strikes me about the above photograph is how it in no way resembles Frances Bean Cobain’s recent pictorial for Hedi Slimane. That’s not necessarily a negative or positive commentary, just a fact. Two different girls projecting completely different images. The fashion industry is wide enough to accommodate both of their images, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will.

On Tuesday, I asked readers whether they thought Francis Bean Cobain had a future in the modeling industry. Now, I will ask the same of Aliana Lohan. She has a contract with NEXT Model Management, but will she make it over the long haul? Vote in the poll below and let us know what you think…
