Anna Nicole Smith's longtime doctor and friend Khristine Erosevich has been convicted of conspiracy in the model/actress' 2007 drug death. Smith's lawyer and companion Howard K. Stern has also been found guilty on some charges at a trial alleging the pair conspired to prescribe prescription drugs to an addict.

Further details were not available as WENN went to press.

A third defendant, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, was acquitted on all counts in court on Thursday (28Oct10). Attorneys for Stern, Kapoor and Eroshevich argued during the trial that each of their clients were acting in Smith's best interests and helping someone with documented pain and depression.
