Glee sourpuss Sue Sylvester is starting to win the heart of her actress, Jane Lynch. Or is it the other way around? Lynch, has taken up the cause of dropping the words "retard" and "retarded", equating it with other inflammatory language like racist and sexist slurs.

Huffington Post has the new public service announcement Jane Lynch and fellow Gleek, Lauren Potter, made to raise awareness about the hurtful power of the term and its use in everyday language. Much like other trigger words in the ad, both actresses ask that the term no longer be used in a joking manner or as a put-down. "It's not acceptable" the ad for repeats.
