Last week, when details started emerging about Terry Richardson's coffee table book of Lady Gaga photos, I predicted the snapshots wouldn't cause anywhere close to as much hysteria/ condemnation as Madonna's 1992 effort Sex. I still think I'm right, largely because the Material Girl's pleasant little book featured full-frontal nudity, orgies and allusions to bestiality. Still, if Gaga herself is to be trusted though, her self-titled release will turn its own share of heads.

According to MTV, the pop star gave photographer Terry Richardson complete, twenty-four hour access to her. He snapped her eating, drinking, performing, showering and even peeing in a cup. Exactly which three hundred and fifty photographs will make the final cut is still an answer few, if any, know, but with reportedly over one hundred thousand pictures to choose from, there should be no shortage of choices picturing just about anything imaginable. Here's what Gaga had to say…
”Terry was with me for [almost] a whole year, and, gosh, I didn't hold anything back from Terry ... he was with me every minute, every moment. It's completely unfiltered. He has photographs of me waking up in the morning, brushing my teeth, in the bathroom, in the bathtub, the shower. And the thing about Terry, if you know anything about his photography, is that nothing is staged; I mean, that's sort of what he is renowned for. He can get you to do things and he can capture things that no one can ever capture.

When I polled Pop Blend readers asking whether or not they'd keep Gaga on their coffee tables, more than eighty percent said yes. To be perfectly honest, I don't think I would, but I can promise you I will look through these pictures at least once when Lady Gaga is released on November 22nd. I'm not sure how anyone couldn't.
