Late last week, Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy pictures leaked onto the internet. Apparently, someone came across the photos on a file sharing service in Russia and then they were widely dispersed from there. Hugh Hefner and company immediately sprang into action and began offering downloaded copies of the magazine on the Playboy website, but the extent of the leak was such that many outlets put up censored and/ or uncensored photos for its readers to ogle.

Tomorrow, the highly publicized issue will be released on newsstands across the country. With Lohan’s fee of nearly one million dollars, it’s extremely important for the issue to sell, both for Playboy’s bottom line and fans excited about the magazine procuring more expensive Hollywood celebrities. Looking at pictures for free might be great, but someone still needs to pay for them to be taken.

I haven’t bought an issue of Playboy in years, but I’m strongly considering shelling out the money for this one. It just feels like something I need to own. Plus, I’d like to see the men’s magazine get back to its glory days of publishing great fiction and interesting interviews with many of the world’s movers and shakers.

What do you think? Will you go out and purchase a copy once its available at a newsstand near you? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
