While it might not be as uplifting as what you may experience at your typical wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided to play the song “Guide Me, O Thou Redeemer” at the beginning of their wedding. If you have a British parent, like I do, or if you were old enough at the time to remember watching Princess Diana’s funeral, as I was, just barely, you’ll know this song was played at her funeral. I still remember my mom getting teary eyed, and I can only imagine that this will be a very powerful moment.

A spokesman from St James Palace told Britain's Daily Mail, "Catherine is very familiar with classical music. She had a lot of input from the Prince of Wales. They spent a lot of time listening to the music together on iPods."

As usual, the story ends with dirt being thrown on Middleton, but even if you don’t care about the wedding (I can’t say that I do), this very classy move should be acknowledged and appreciated.
