Obnoxious and annoying-voiced foodie Rachel Ray’s new commercial caused quite a stir this week among ignorant rednecks. The short spot advertising donuts featured the Food Network diva dressed in a black-and-white scarf eerily reminiscent of a keffiyeh. For those of you scoring at home, the keffiyeh is a traditonal headdress worn by Arab men, or to be as belligerent and unpolitically correct as possible about it: dat der funny hat is da towel dem sumbitch towelheads wear when they get all terroristy.

According to WENN, Dunkin’ Donuts released a statement saying, "In a recent online ad, Rachael Ray is wearing a black-and-white silk scarf with a paisley design. It was selected by her stylist for the advertising shoot. Absolutely no symbolism was intended. However, given the possibility of misperception, we are no longer using the commercial." Hmm...that still doesn’t explain why the donut emporium would hire the buxom brunette to sell their product. She’s up there with Timothy McVeigh on my own personal list of domestic terrorists.
