A prince has been born to Kings of Leon lead guitarist Cameron Matthew Followill. The rocker and his wife Johanna Bennet welcomed their first child into the world in Nashville Tennessee on April 22nd. The baby boy, Knox Cameron Followill (who will likely go by his middle name, as all the Followill’s do) is said to be healthy in a statement released by the band’s representative to People.com, "Mother, father and baby are happy and healthy and doing well!!"

Obviously the band’s rep was excited, despite the birth conflicting with the premier of the Kings of Leon documentary Talihina Sky, which premiered at New York City's Tribeca Film Festival on the same day. Matthew was unable to make it, and with the band’s next gig slated for Ireland in less than a month, there’s a chance a conflict could arise. Matthew is the only member of the band to have children at this time, which makes his son the heir apparent to the throne of Leon, I suppose.
