Albert Brooks Joins Oscar Isaac And Jessica Chastain In J.C. Chandor's A Most Violent Year![]() The movie will be the third film from writer-director J.C. Chandor, who made the financial crisis drama Margin Call. While these two actors wouldn’t have rolled off of my tongue immediately when thinking about pairing interesting co-stars, this should be quite the interesting team-up, assuming the film’s storyline allows for it.

So what I'm trying to say is that both upcoming projects The Gunman and A Most Violent Year just got an upgrade. The Oscar-winning star for No Country For Old Men has landed key roles in both films, which are being directed by Pierre Morel and J.C. Chandor, respectively.
