Last week I realized that my DVR had accidently deleted several episodes from the end of Battlestar Galactica’s third season – episodes I hadn’t gotten to see yet (damn that seemingly-endless Monk marathon for taking up all the space!). No problem, right? In the day and age we live in, I can just log onto iTunes, find the episodes I want, and acquire them (completely legally) for my viewing pleasure.

Oh – except there was that whole debacle between NBC Universal and Apple last year, resulting in Universal pulling its shows from iTunes, including Heroes, The Office, and, of course, Battlestar Galactica. Needless to say, I wasn’t a happy camper.

Well, soon that lost relationship between NBC and Apple may be repaired. Engadget reports that NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker, who had less than kind things to say just a few months ago, s now changing his story. Now Zucker is praising Steve Jobs and stating that the company wants to do business with Apple.

Likewise, Jobs is on record at BusinessWeek as stating that everybody lost in the two company’s little tiff, and that hopefully we’ll start seeing NBC shows on iTunes again soon.

For my money (which I am willing to pay, remember?), I hope they can mend this relationship and get those episodes of Galactica back on iTunes before Battlestar hits the air again. I want to be caught up!
