Boss Preview: Episode 3 - Swallow
As Starz’ series Boss continues on to its third episode, we’ve already gotten a decent measure of who Kelsey Grammer’s character Tom Kane is. These two clips demonstrate the fact that he’s not the same man with everyone. In one clip, he clearly has the power, while in another, he’s in a different place entirely.
The other day we shared a few photos from this Friday’s episode of Boss. Today we have some clips to show you. This first one shows just how severe Tom Kane is when he’s trying to make a point.
It’s funny. I was watching that clip and thinking, man, it must have been difficult for his daughter to grow up with him as a father. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen him staring down at someone seated in a chair. I can only imagine what that must have been like for his daughter. Parental lectures would have taken on a whole new meaning.
Regardless of whether or not Tom was as scary with Hannah as he is with people he works for/with/above, we don’t know (yet), but judging by their relationship now, and more specifically, this clip, it seems like she has the power in the relationship.
What’s interesting is that she references the hospital, which makes me think he told her about his neurological problem. Or was that something we already knew and I’m just not thinking of it? Either way, she could prove to be a helpful ally for him, given her access to medicine.
Boss airs Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
