Key & Peele Preview: Comedy Central's New Sketch Comedy Series

Later this month, Comedy Central will premiere the new sketch-comedy series Key & Peele. Could this be the network's next great sketch comedy series? We’ll have to wait for the answer to that question. In the meantime, we have a clip from the show that may very well make you laugh out loud.

The scene: One guy talking on his cell phone comes into contact with another guy talking on his cell phone...

Key & Peele

The joke may not be entirely original, but the execution works. It’s fast, you think you know what’s happening... and then the punchline. This seems like it'll be a good fit to follow Tosh.0.

Key & Peele is a half-hour sketch comedy starring actors/writers Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Per Comedy Central’s release...

In this new series, these fresh, relevant comedic actor-writers, used to being on the outside looking in, will examine life in a provocative and irreverent way, through a combination of filmed sketches and live stage segments. Whether it's satirizing the President, spoofing Nazis, or ordering up some soul food, Key & Peele will showcase their chemistry, camaraderie and unique point of view, born from their shared background and experiences growing up biracial in a not quite post-racial world.

Key & Peele premieres Tuesday, January 31 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
