Olympics Day 12 NBC Wednesday Primetime Schedule Includes Women's Beach Volleyball Gold Final

Last night's coverage of the London Olympics wrapped up the last of the gymnastics. But Team USA finished with a bang there, thanks in large part to Aly Raisman's performances on the balance beam and the floor. NBC's coverage for Day 12 will focus on Track and Field, with some diving and a pretty major Beach Volleyball match set on their primetime line-up tonight.

Tension was in the air last night after Aly Raisman's balance beam routine put her in fourth place, just inches from a Bronze medal. Her coach submitted a protest and the judges recalculated her score. You can watch her performance and the intense bit of aftermath here. And later that evening, Raisman returned to the mat, this time for a fantastic floor routine that earned her a much-deserved gold medal. Watch that video here.

With gymnastics wrapped up, that leaves NBC more time to focus on Track and Field. And as you'll see by the line-up below, there's plenty of that set to be featured during tonight's coverage. We'll also see both American teams face off against one another in the Beach Volleyball Gold Medal Final. That's going to be an event worth watching!
