Jimmy Fallon Interviews The Cast Of 30 Rock: Watch Tracy Morgan Sing Boyz II Men

It's always incredibly sad to see a series go off the air. Well, not always, many programs overstay their welcome so long they leave you begging for them to get out with what little shred of dignity might remain, while other times cancellations can be more than welcome. But neither of those scenarios appropriately describes 30 Rock's impending departure from network television forever.

Fans would certainly welcome a few more seasons of the show which still manages to pump out quality - meaning funny - episodes pretty much every week but seven seasons is also a great run and allowed us a lot of time to get to know (and love) the characters. As Jimmy Fallon will tell you if you check out the full episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which is on NBC's website and titled Cast of 30 Rock: Parts 1-6, the comedy managed to wrack up 97 Emmy nominations with several more surely on the way before it's all said and done.

The stories shared during the special episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon range from the wrap party getting all Caligula which, of course, resulted in Tracy Morgan getting somebody pregnant (this time Alec Baldwin) to much more tame tales like Tina Fey sharing the origins of the idea. Joining Fey, Morgan and Baldwin for the chat were co-stars Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer, and Fallon does a good job of spreading the love and squeezing some interesting anecdotes from all the guests. And a few laughs.

I recommend watching the entire show so you can reminisce with the cast reminiscing but I've also included a clip in case you're not yet sold. Apparently, Morgan would often break into song on the on the set of 30 Rock and Fallon manages to coax him (like it takes much to get the comedian going) into giving the audience a taste of the back stage tradition. Here's Morgan, hugged by his cast-mates, singing the perfectly picked Boyz II Men classic, "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." It's actually kind of sad. Maybe Dr. Spaceman can prescribe me something to get through the tough times.
