CBS Fall 2016 Premiere Schedule Announced, Features Michael Weatherly's New Series But No Amazing Race

CBS finally revealed its plans for the Fall TV schedule this morning and there are quite a few shockers on there. First and foremost, the network’s last non-renewed TV series, Limitless is not on the schedule and we recently learned the network was shopping around Limitless to other channels, so it looks like the series may not be dead just yet.

Insofar as CBS’ schedule next fall goes, the network is going to have the usual problems with Thursday night football, which means the network’s comedy block that night will not hit the schedule until October. The Big Bang Theory will be on the schedule in September, and will kick off on Mondays acting as the lead-in to new series Kevin Can Wait until it shifts back to Thursdays in October. In addition, Michael Weatherly’s new series Bull will fittingly air right after NCIS on the network’s Tuesday schedule.

Unfortunately, new dramas Training Day and Doubt and other well-liked programs The Amazing Race, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Undercover Boss are being held until midseason. Oh, and if you are looking for Supergirl, that series has already been shipped off to the CW for the 2016-2017 TV season. Go ahead, get a little excited.

All times listed in ET unless otherwise noted. New series are listed in All CAPS.
