The Iconic Walking Dead Comic Moment The Uncensored Season 6 Finale Will Give Us

Perhaps more than any other, Season 6 of The Walking Dead brought some of my favorite moments from the comic book series to live-action, and I expect Season 7 to go hard on introducing everything that's great about the bigger, but not always brighter, outside world. But this past season hasn't stopped giving us goodies just yet, as the upcoming Blu-ray will unleash the fury of Negan's silver tongue with an uncensored take on his memorable introduction, and it has been confirmed that one of the villain's most iconic lines will definitely be in the cut.

Which NSFW line am I referring to? Well, he already got to say "Pee Pee Pants City," so I'm obviously talking about that spicy one in that first speech bubble in the panel seen below.

the walking dead

I don't know about you guys, but even beyond it being such a fantastic quote to run around hollering in supermarkets, this was the exact moment in that standout issue that I felt it in both my bones and my stomach that this new dude with the jacket and the bat wasn't going to be like The Walking Dead's other villainous strangers. The ones who might talk for so long that they lose the upper hand, Bond villain style. No, Negan let his torrential river of expletives rain down, perhaps drawing giggles from certain readers, and then Lucille did all the talking.

So while it'll definitely be sweet to watch Glenn (or whoever, but probably Glenn) get beaten to oblivion when Season 7 begins, Negan's introduction will only really be complete for me when I get to hear him make that threat-filled promise, which was translated to the far more tame "I'm gonna beat the holy hell out of one of you," for the TV broadcast.

And what about all the other swear-alicious lines from the comics that Negan uttered in that moment? According to THR, the uncensored scene on the Walking Dead Blu-ray will feature 19 more instances of the word "fuck" and its variances other than the quote above, for a total of 23 F-bombs and F-torpedoes. It's broken down even further, for those of us who have customizable bingo cards at the ready, so that we know we're getting three uses of "fuck," two uses of "fucked," one "fuckedy," and one "fucker," with the crown going to "fucking," which gets said 16 times. That was a fun paragraph to write, people.

The Walking Dead Season 6 Blu-ray, complete with all the fuckedy fucking special features you can handle, will hit store shelves and online retailers on Tuesday, August 23. For even more scenes that will eventually get uncensored takes on home releases, Season 7 of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC on Sunday, October 23, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
