As fans were fuming on the web over the fact that Jackson Michie may have had an unfair advantage in the latest veto competition, Cliff Hogg III finally threw a Hail Mary in his campaign to save his game in the competition. Cliff knew he didn’t have much he can offer that will keep him in Big Brother house over Holly Allen, but he could offer not to screw Jackson over, and that may be enough.

Cliff told Jackson that if he wants his or Nicole’s votes in the final 2 he needs to evict Holly. Additionally, if Jackson does send him to the Jury House over Holly, Cliff will tell everyone in the jury about how Jackson’s promises were only as good until they no longer benefited him. The move infuriated Jackson, and the Big Brother front-runner looked slightly worried later in private. Will Cliff really screw him over?

That’s the question Jackson has been rolling over in his mind since then as he realized he’s in danger of losing Big Brother to a bitter jury. He already screwed over Tommy Bracco in the prior eviction with a bold-faced lie, and if that didn’t destroy his rep in the house then Cliff coming in and repeating Jackson burned him as well just might.

Jackson already had some issues with the jury as is, and it’s hard to believe he’ll win over the votes of a majority of the jury unless they’re able to vote on his gameplay over their personal feelings about him. Nicole and Cliff are turning anti-Michie, and Christie Murphy, Jessica Milagros, Tommy Bracco, and Kathrynn Dunn left the house on relatively bad terms with him. Jackson needs some good things said about him ahead of finale night, and Cliff has more or less promised that isn’t happening if he leaves the house.

Jackson could send Holly to jury to petition on his behalf, though his showmance partner wasn’t reassuring she’d speak any better about him if he eliminated her. This is honestly the perfect position for Holly, as Michie guaranteed her a final 2 she’s bound to win if Cliff further torches the comp beast’s rep in the Jury House. This move is great for Holly’s game, and she’s not about to sacrifice it to save him.

Unfortunately, it didn’t appear Cliff’s threat paid off as the HouseGuest was busy saying his goodbyes to the camera and Nicole before the live feeds cut. The dropped feeds may be a sign some major stuff is happening in the house, but more likely than not this is just Big Brother saving footage that will be shown on Sunday. Who knows, maybe Holly and Jackson had another huge blowout that will save Cliff after all?
