Oh Yes, Baby Yoda Toys Are Coming For Star Wars Fans Just In Time For Christmas

the mandalorian baby yoda merchandise is coming soon

When The Mandalorian premiered on the newly launched Disney+, many were taken by the storyline, the big budget special effects, and the characters. However, it was Baby Yoda that captured the hearts of Star Wars fans everywhere. Now that the precious creature is the internet’s new obsession, the announcement that Disney plans to release Baby Yoda toys just in time for Christmas might be the best gift ever.

Baby Yoda’s appearance on The Mandalorian, which is already being nominated for awards, came as a big surprise. Somehow, Disney managed to keep the adorable little baby secret from Star Wars fans. But, after the internet exploded with fans gushing over how cute Baby Yoda was, many began wondering why there was no merchandise available for him yet.

Fear not! With the holidays right around the corner, there will be plenty of Baby Yoda apparel, toys, and accessories available to everyone soon. Disney will be making Baby Yoda a priority this season and all of the merchandise will soon be available to purchase at retailers like Amazon, Target, Hot Topic, Kohl’s, Macy’s, and more. The Disney Store, ShopDisney, and Disney’s theme parks will also be selling Baby Yoda products.

According to CNBC, there will also be a lot of presale for Baby Yoda toys and plush toys ahead of Christmas, though the shipping and arrival dates for many of these products is still unknown. While The Mandalorian fans wait for news on other merchandise, Amazon already has a couple of t-shirts available with Baby Yoda’s face on them and I know the products are going to be very popular.

Of course, the cute creature, who doesn’t have an official name but is being called The Child, bears a strong resemblance to the wise Jedi Master known as Yoda. They likely belong to the same species, although much of Baby Yoda’s backstory remains a mystery for now. The baby appeared at the very end of The Mandalorian’s first episode and has overshadowed much of the show since then.

The Star Wars series, set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, but before the rise of the First Order, has already been renewed for Season 2. Jon Favreau is already posting pictures from the set of the second season, starting with Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian helmet. It’s already been revealed that the character probably won’t remove his helmet in Season 1, so we can hope that Season 2 will finally offer a glimpse of his face.

The mysterious bounty hunter’s target was, in fact, Baby Yoda. However, by the end of Episode 1, Mando realized his 50-year-old target was actually a baby. It’s a little confusing, so The Mandalorian has a lot to explain in the few episodes it has left. Until more is revealed, though, Baby Yoda merchandise awaits.

The Mandalorian airs every Friday on Disney+. Stay tuned to CinemaBlend for more information about the show and Baby Yoda. In the meantime, be sure to check out what else is available to stream on Disney+.
