2020 is a year that has been rough for many people, and reality television has done a solid job of showing just how scary COVID-19 was when the world first went into lockdown. Many businesses (as well as shows and movies) are still being affected by protocols in place to keep the virus in check, including the business owned by Little People, Big World's Matt Roloff, Roloff Farms.
Viewers who have watched the show over the years know that the fall season is a busy time for the farm as they welcome visitors for tours, pumpkin purchasing, and other fall activities. In a recent post on Instagram, Roloff admitted that he feared "the worst" heading into the season, and explained why he ended up impressed instead.
So many people to thank you for all of you that you did to help make our 2020-Covid style pumpkin season such a huge success here at @rolofffarms. The roloff family, our amazing staff and all the incredible guests we get to hosts from all over the world. We were so impressed with every single person that visited us this cray cray year. We braced to see the worst in people and instead saw the very best! So many came, had fun, stretched their legs, got some fresh air , played safe, enjoyed the crisp Fall air , saw the farm in a way that they’ve never seen before and yes... enjoyed the little surprises we planted at every turn.
Matt Roloff expected to face a lot of issues with compliance in Roloff Farms' 2020 fall pumpkin season, but thankfully, things seemed to go well. The farm added a new scenic walk trail with previously inaccessible areas now available to be seen much closer, and there were evidently a few surprises as well.
For those who did get a chance to see those secrets as well as those who didn't make it to Roloff Farms this fall, Matt Roloff had a bit of exciting news. Little People, Big World's next season will give viewers a look at pumpkin season 2020. That means some visitors will appear on an upcoming episode, for better or worse.
We hope to see many of you on upcoming episodes of little people big world due out Next year. Thank you all (a very few exceptions) for being conciencious and keeping my family, our staff and all the other visitors as save as possible by wearing your masks and social distancing like we had prayed for. To all of you that weren’t able to make it to The farm this year... there is always next year... hopefully back to some normalcy by then. Now that the season is behind us... it’s off to Cabo for some well deserved sunshine and relaxation.
Matt Roloff is headed to Cabo, likely as a treat to himself and girlfriend Caryn Chandler after the season. He may be able to spend more time there in the future should he hand over the reins of Roloff Farms to sons Zach and Jeremy Roloff. Zach teased the idea at the end of Season 21, though at the time of writing, it appears no ownership has been given to him or his brother Jeremy.
