Zac Efron is currently filming Season 2 of his Netflix series Down to Earth, in which he journeys the world to explore healthy and sustainable ways to live. The actor is sharing behind-the-scenes videos on his new journey and one of those include swimming with new some new friends.

The actor recently posted a video to his Instagram page swimming up close and personal with some friendly mammals in the land down under. It looks as though Season 2 of Down to Earth with Zac Efron will feature the High School Musical alum and dolphins. Efron is seen swimming among a pod of dolphins, basically everyone’s dream come true.

The first season of Down to Earth with Zac Efron included trips to Iceland, France, Costa Rica, London and more where Efron soaked in a spa, joined Anna Kendrick for a lesson in H2O, visited a wildlife refuge and checked out pollution-reduction efforts.

Earlier this month, Zac Efron dropped the news on his Instagram that he was starting to film Season 2 of Down to Earth, sharing more behind-the-scenes photos from filming. The photos included him and wellness expert Darin Olien living a new way of life, with an unconventional method.

This series doesn’t mark the first reality show Zac Efron has done with his name on it. In 2019, the actor was hospitalized for a “life or death” situation while filming his new reality series, Killing Zac Efron. The series would put him on a remote dangerous island with only basic gear and an experienced tour guide. It would have premiered on the short-lived mobile streaming platform Quibi last year but it doesn’t seem like the series continued on after Efron fell ill.

Zefron is keeping busy, even without filming Down to Earth. Last year it was announced he would be starring in new movie, Gold, alongside Aussie actor Anthony Hayes. It’s an original story that will follow them as a pair of strangers traveling through the desert when they come across a massive and invaluable gold nugget. He also will be attached to a remake of Stephen King’s Firestarter and make his return to former home with Disney to star in a remake of Three Men and a Baby on Disney+.

Although it is unknown how many episodes there will be for Season 2 of Down to Earth with Zac Efron, it’s possible it will have eight episodes like the first season. But where else in the world will he be going besides Australia? We’re just going to have to hope that he will be posting more behind-the-scenes footage while we all wait to see where his journey takes him.
