The League: 2009 Fall TV Preview

Later this month FX is set to premiere their new comedy series The League. Based on these promos we have to show you, this is definitely a guy-show. Is that sexist? Ok, to be fair there are probably plenty of women out there who enjoy fantasy-football but it still looks like the humor is definitely going to be more bro-centric.

Below is FX’s series description for The League and further down are a few video

“The League is a half-hour comedy about male friendship, marriage, parenting, suburbia, and growing up – or refusing to grow up – through a circle of friends involved in a fantasy football league. The ensemble cast includes Mark Duplass, Steve Rannazzisi, Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie, and Katie Aselton. Jeff and Jackie Marcus Schaffer serve as executive producers. The pilot was directed by Jeff Schaffer.”

The League premieres October 29th at 10:30PM ET/PT on FX.
