Rob Lowe Possibly Headed To Pawnee

While Rob Lowe may be making his exit from Brothers & Sisters at the end of this season, it seems we haven’t seen the last of him on the small screen. Word is, he’s in talks to appear in multiple episodes of NBC’s Parks and Recreations.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s Ausiello, Lowe is in talks to appear in numerous episodes of the Parks and Rec, beginning later this year and carrying over into next season. Who he’ll be playing, Ausiello couldn’t say as NBC’s keeping the specifics under wraps until the deal’s made official.

An ‘80’s icon and member of the beloved Brat Pack, Lowe’s most recent small screen work includes the part of Robert McCallister on ABC’s drama series Brothers & Sisters, however it was announced earlier this year that Lowe would be leaving the series at the end of the season, which certainly leaves him open for new projects. Whenever I think of Lowe doing comedy, I think of his role as the douchy Benjamin Kane in Wayne’s World. Somehow I think a character like that would provide some hilarious moments in Parks and Rec.
