Michael C. Hall Beats Cancer

It’s always good news when someone you know recovers from cancer and while most of us probably don’t know Michael C. Hall personally, it’s still great to hear he’s beaten Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The Dexter star’s wife and co-star Jennifer Carpenter announced Friday that Hall is fully recovered from cancer. According to the Associated Press, Carpenter went on to say that he’s returned to work, which is also great news, as I’m sure many of us are eagerly anticipating the next new season of Dexter, given the jaw-dropping season finale last year.

Hall went public with his disease back in January, of which Carpenter stated that he was “incredibly brave” to do. Since then he’s won a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award for his starring role as the serial-killer Dexter in the fantastic Showtime series. Adding a victory against cancer certainly indicates that this year’s shaping up for him.
