Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III Preview

Later this month Adult Swim will premiere the third installment of the Robot Chicken: Star Wars Trilogy. Star Wars fans and those who love Robot Chicken won’t want to miss this hour-long special.

Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III airs Sunday, Dec. 19 at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Adult Swim. Much like any given episode of Robot Chicken, the special jumps all over the place, delivering a semi-random shuffle of jokes, except in this case, it’s all Star Wars, so fans of the franchise will definitely want to check it out. I took a peek at the special and there are some genuinely hilarious moments. It’s also my determination that a Robot Chicken special focused entirely on ridiculous storm trooper shenanigans would be fairly epic.

Below is Adult Swim’s description and further down are a few photos from the special.

“In the hour-long special, four very different characters‹Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Gary the Stormtrooper reveal untold stories that weave and interconnect throughout all six Star Wars films. Robot Chicken: Star wars Episode III also features Zac Efron as Anakin Skywalker, Anthony Daniels (from the original Star Wars films) as C3PO, Mike Henry (The Cleveland Show) and Donald Glover (Community), all making their first appearance in RCSW. Also returning from the previous specials are Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian and Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks along with returning favorites Green, Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Seth MacFarlane, Dan Milano, Abe Benrubi, Donald Faison, Rachael Leigh Cook, Adrianne Pallicki, Eden Espinosa, Hugh Davidson, Bob Bergen, Keith Ferguson, Tom Kane and Zeb Wells.”
