Elizabeth Perkins Signed On For CBS Comedy Pilot Vince Uncensored

I still miss the complete mess that was Celia Hodes on Showtime’s Weeds, however I’m happy to report that we may be seeing actress Elizabeth Perkins in another small screen role. She’s been cast to to star in the CBS pilot Vince Uncensored.

Vince Uncensored is the comedy pilot that may be keeping No Ordinary Family star Michael Chiklis on TV should it get a series pick-up (and ABC decide not to renew NoF). In the pilot, Chiklis plays Vince, a man who develops a medial condition that causes him to only speak the truth and “live in the moment.” Perkins, who played Celia Hodes in Weeds, will play Vince’s wife. She’s described as patient in how she deals with her husband’s new issues.

The show sounds funny enough and the addition of Perkins to the project certainly makes it even more appealing. As a child of the ‘80’s, there’s a part of me that will always associate her with her role in Big, however she was also a big part of the charm and humor in Weeds and the series isn’t quite the same without her. It's about time we saw more Perkins on TV.
