The first half of the final season of Battlestar Galactica is about to wrap up in a couple of weeks. Then once again we’ll have to wait for months or longer for new episodes. How’s it all going to end? We don’t know but the cast does! (Minor spoilers ahead!)

British news magazine, SciFiNow got the scoop from Edward James Olmos. They didn’t get any big details from him (so don’t worry about any major spoilers) but Olmos did seem a bit grim when expressing his opinion on the ending of the series, saying “It’s not a happy ending, we end up with almost nothing.” This isn’t the first time Olmos has mentioned how rough things are going to get in the fourth season.

While Olmos did say that the final episode was shot and the cast knows the identity of the final Cylon, he wouldn’t give any hints as to who it is. Though SciFiNow did add that Aaron Douglas, who plays Chief Tyrol (one of the final five Cylons living among the humans), said that “all of the guesses and popular theories he’d seen on internet forums and blogs ‘don’t even come close’.”

Woah. So I guess it’s time to start thinking outside the box with all of these final-five theories. Who do you think the fifth Cylon is? Personally, I’m still hanging on to hope that it’s Gaeta but in the end, as long as the big reveal is good, that’s all that really matters.
