Ellen DeGeneres dances daily on her talk show, but honestly, it's the kind of dancing I do when cleaning my room and guiltily listening to Sly and the Family Stone. What she lacks in intense dance skills, though, she makes up for in sheer likability, and she'll be cashing in on that with an appearance tonight on So You Think You Can Dance.

THR reports she'll be showing up on the show's season finale to recreate the hip-hop performance by injured contestant Alex Wong and Stephen "tWitch" Boss. DeGeneres taped the routine yesterday after spending a month rehearsing it; she mentioned Wong when she tweeted about her appearance, "#SYTYCD finale tonight. Broke my heart when Alex had to drop out. Tonight, I do something and I hope it makes him smile."

Ellen has just departed her post as a judge on American Idol after just a year in the job, but the So You Think You Can Dance appearance seems to indicate that there are no hard feelings. We'll be writing a recap of tonight's finale, so check back in tomorrow for the full breakdown.
