Hannibal Gets Another Creepy New Teaser

If it's NBC's intention to give us the creeps with their latest Hannibal teasers, they're succeeding. Earlier today, we share the teaser with "the hand." If you don't know what that's in reference to, you haven't seen it yet. Now comes an equally brief but chilling new teaser, which focuses on a serial killer's determination for consumption.

If the the previously released teaser with "the hand" was meant to play up the visual gore, this new one plays up the psychological side of things. And that's probably pretty fitting for a character like Hannibal Lecter, whose interests are both mental and physical…

"He doesn't want to destroy them. He wants to consume them."

These teasers are certainly playing up the disturbing factor, and they're doing it really well. Part of me can't wait for Hannibal to premiere (Thursday, April 4 at 10/9c on NBC), while another part of me isn't sure I'm ready for it! Either way, something tells me Bryan Fuller's new drama isn't one to watch while eating dinner… unless you're enjoying liver with some lava beans and a nice chianti, of course.

Hannibal stars Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, a gifted criminal profiler who looks to the successful psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkleson) to help him in tracking down some of the worst serial killers in the country. Little does he know just how suited Lecter is for the job. The series also stars Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Hettienne Park, Scott Thompson and Aaron Abrams.
