Matt Grant Looking For Love On The Bachelor

ABC has announced the newest guy to ante up for The Bachelor (Yes, that show is still on!). It’s 27-year-old Matt Grant, a global financier from London and the first international Bachelor ever.

The 12th edition of the romance reality series, hosted by Chris Harrison, premieres Monday, March 17, 10 p.m. EST. Viewers got their first glimpse of the 6’5” blue-eyed business development manager on ABC's Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann this week, as Matt was introduced live from the audience.

The youngest of five brothers, all of whom are married, the Brit says he’s close to his parents and siblings, and that his parents are still best friends who have a romantic relationship after 30 years together. Ok, is that TMI? Do we really need to know that?

He’s also a native of Bishop's Stortford, near London, and received his B.A. in modern history and politics from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Matt was captain of the university's rowing team and plays rugby, cricket, tennis and skis. A workout buff, his other passion is current events. Sounds hunky and smart, to boot.
