American Idol goes Disney this week with guest mentor Miley Cyrus signing on to help the Top 11 Finalists prepare for Billboard No. 1 Hits Week. Then, on the results show, she'll be joined by fellow Disney Channel stars Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, performing their single, "Make a Wave." Cyrus will perform "When I Look At You."

The hit talent show has already signed Usher to mentor the contestants next week, for the Top 10. The addition of Cyrus this week is definitely indicative that Idol is trying to find more contemporary stars to help the kids out. While I'm sure Cyrus will be a hit with many of the younger finalists, I can imagine some of the older ones may not be familiar with her music.

At only 17 years old, Cyrus will definitely be the youngest mentor yet, but she's certainly able to prepare the contestants for instant world-wide fame at a young age, or when unprepared. She may not be able to say as much about how hard it was for her to break in to the industry, considering her pedigree, but she can always remind them that it's not so much the destination, as it is "The Climb."
