Those who don't feel completely overwhelmed by the news of the school shooting in Connecticut today will be able to find more coverage of the horrific ordeal during primetime on television tonight. A number of networks have announced plans to dedicate time to exploring the shooting that took place this morning. That includes a special episode of 20/20 and Dateline.

Information is still come in on the shooting that took place at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. What's been reported is that 20 children have been killed and seven adults, including the shooter, are also dead. There's been steady coverage of the situation on the news today and according to TVLine, all of the broadcast networks are planning on dedicating their evening coverage to the tragedy. Here's what's set to air.

6:30 p.m. EST - ABC - Diane Sawyer will anchor a special edition of World News from the scene of the shooting.

6:30 p.m. EST - NBC - NBC Nightly News will have Brian Williams anchoring a one-hour edition of the news program.

6:30 p.m. EST - CBS - CBS Evening News will have Scott Pelley anchoring an hour-long special from Connecticut.

10:00 p.m. EST - NBC - A special episode of Dateline will be dedicated to the tragedy and feature Brian Williams and Lester Holt.

10:00 p.m. EST - CBS - An hour-long CBS News Special Report will air.

10:00 p.m. EST - ABC - Diane Sawyer and Chris Cuomo will appear in 20/20: Tragedy at the Elementary School.

11:35 p.m. EST - ABC - 11:35 p.m. - A special hour-long Nightline will air following 20/20.
