Scott Disick used to be downright unlikable on Keeping up with Kardashians, but over the years he has worked to rehab his image. Now he just seems rude rather than downright awful to his wife and family. Still, he's always good for a few scandals a year. This week, for example, Disick has ruffled some feathers after he dropped some snarky comments about women's pubic hair on E!'s popular series. More specifically, he dropped some comments about his own wife's pubic hair.
On Sunday’s episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Scott caused a bit of an uproar on the series after he addressed Kourtney not shaving her pubic hair. Obviously, it’s a little hard to shave down south when dealing with a pregnant belly, and Kourtney asked for some assistance from her husband if her really wanted her to look good. To Disick’s credit, he told his pregnant wife that he would help her to get ready for the pregnancy shoot by trimming her pubic hair, but he’s not particularly nice about the whole thing. You can check out a clip from the episode, below.
Seriously, watching Scott trim up his wife’s pubic hair takes reality TV to a whole new level, but I could have done without all of the commentary about her hair during the episode. In fact, the attack on his lady’s bush is pretty ridiculous, with him bringing up to the cameras that her pubic region is like the eighties. That’s a totally unnecessary shot, especially since women are free to wear their hair however they want.
Her bush is hanging out like it's the eighties and I'm not going to stand for that. If I have to get my hands dirty I will.
During the episode, it almost seems as if he feels he is doing a noble duty by helping out his wife. But if she wants to not have to worry about her pubic hair while pregnant, she shouldn’t have to deal with snide comments like the following:
When her stomach is hanging over things, I don't think she gets how unkempt her lawn can get. I think she forgets hair still grows downstairs.
Keeping up with the Kardashians has always had a penchant for getting ridiculous, but this pubic hair segment was certainly among the weirdest. I guess it’s better than watching the Kardashian clan deal with more serious stuff, like Lamar Odom’s cheating or Rob’s various issues, but watching Scott rant about how women should look has proven a little off-putting for many viewers. In fact, it has already inspired its share of angry editorials on the subject.
Keeping up with the Kardashians just got a huge multi-season renewal, so there will be a lot more where this episode came from over at E!. Check out more about the series over at E!’s site.
