USA Has Two Pilots Ready For Production

USA has at least two pilots that have got the green-light, but are still just sitting there. Both were contingent upon casting, and both are now set to start filming. Hollywood Reporter revealed the stars of the shows, White Collar and Royal Pains, but did not give dates for production.

White Collar will be featuring Matthew Bomer as its main character. The show centers on Neal Caffrey (Bomer), a brilliant con artist who, against his will, partners with the head of FBI's white-collar crime unit to solve cases.

Matthew Bomer is no stranger to television. You may remember him from such shows as Christmas Ape Goes to Summer Camp - wait that was Troy McClure from The Simpsons (I loved you, Phil Hartman). Matthew has been on Chuck (NBC) and Travelers (ABC).

We, here at Cinema Blend, reported on casting for Royal Pains awhile ago. “Mark Feuerstein has signed to star in USA Network's 90-minute pilot Royal Pains, lifting the cast contingency on the project. Meanwhile, Jace Alexander has come on board to direct. Pains, from the Firm, is a medical show that centers on Hank Lawson (Feuerstein), an ex-ER doctor who becomes the on-call doctor for the rich denizens of the Hamptons.”
