DuckTales may have only run for three seasons in the late 1980s, but fans of the original show still have fond memories of the series, as well as the show’s excellent theme song. Anyone who has ever caught an episode of DuckTales can probably remember composer Mark Mueller’s signature “Woo-oo’s” and this week, Disney has recreated the theme song sequence at the beginning of DuckTales using actual ducks. Check it out, below.
The details in the video are pretty spectacular. Disney blog “Oh My Disney” recreated each of the scenes in detail, using household items like a plastic helicopter, a stuffed horse and a model airplane to recreate one of the action sequences. Even better, the real live ducklings are given tiny hats so viewers can tell the difference between Huey, Dewey and Louie.
Webby Vanderquack even makes an appearance on a model submarine, with a giant pink bow on her head. Hilariously, the makers of the video even concoct a mummy out of household objects and have it pop out of a 'sarcophagus' to follow the ducks. The reenactments are pretty low budget, but this video even manages to make adult ducks with hairpieces look cute, which is saying something. For comparison’s sake, the original DuckTales opening sequence is also available online. Give it a watch and see how well the video matches up.

Of course, you can’t listen to the DuckTales without also listening to Hall & Oates’ “You Make My Dreams Come True.” Head to the next page to watch it.
