Fox’s Touch seems to be turning into an all-out 24 reunion. D.B. Sweeney is the latest in a line of actors who appeared on Kiefer Sutherland’s previous Fox hit to be added to the cast of his new series. He’s also the third such actor who was a part of 24’s eighth season in particular.

According to THR, Sweeney will be playing a recurring role in Touch’s upcoming second season as an ex-military enforcer for Aster Corp. The character, Tanner, is described as tough, forceful, and threatening. Sweeney follows in the footsteps of Mykelti Williamson, who has been cast as an LAPD detective and Anne Wersching, who will play a family therapist. Both also appeared in the eighth season of 24. Also on board from the 24 credits is John Boyd, who hails from Season 2.

D.B. Sweeney recently narrated the survivalist series Mountain Men and did a guest spot on Major Crimes. He also has a number of movie roles coming out soon and is playing the role of James Longstreet in the upcoming Civil War mini-series To Appomattox, which also stars Noah Wyle and Rob Lowe.

In addition to the growing list of former 24 actors added to season 2 of Touch, the series has also added Maria Bello, Frances Fisher, Lukas Haas, Saxon Sharbino, Greg Ellis, Said Taghmaoui, Adam Campbell and Ray Santiago. Fox has scheduled the second season premiere of the drama for February 1, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET, slightly more than two months away.
