As great as it’ll be to see the return of the Dundies during tonight’s episode of The Office, there’s big news for the season finale. Word is, Jim Carrey is set to join the already heavy line-up of A-listers set to guest-star in the The Office’s season closer, which airs May 19th. Alrighty then! (Dated, I know, but still a winning quote).

Entertainment Weekly posted the news just moments ago, stating the following:

Carrey will guest star as someone who interviews for the management post that is being vacated by Michael Scott (the departing Steve Carell)—and seemingly handed over to Deangelo Vickers (Will Ferrell).

Whether this is official or mostly a rumor, EW didn’t say, though they did state that an NBC spokesperson wouldn’t comment. If this is true, Carrey will be joining Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano and Catherine Tate, all of whom are lined up for the episode (and Michael’s job), playing potential replacements in the finale.
