Next summer DreamWorks Animation is giving Shrek another rest and trying their hand at non-Shrek animation. Their big summer tentpole for 2008 will be Kung Fu Panda, which as I’ve mentioned before, looks an awful lot like an all-animal animated version of Chris Farley’s Beverly Hills Ninja. If only poor Chris were here to cash in on it.
Earlier this week we got a few clips from the film, hosted by Jack Black. Watch that here, and now DreamWorks has released the movie’s first actual teaser trailer. It’s alright. The animation looks really great, I just hope the script is better than the one used in their most recent computer animated venture, Bee Movie. Actually, that’s probably a given. It can’t possibly be worse. Hey when is the next Pixar movie coming?
