X-Men: Days Of Future Past Set Photo Reveals A Trask Industries Presence
Ever since Peter Dinklage joined the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past in an unspecified role, many have guessed that he would be playing the role of Bolivar Trask, the military scientist who helps create the Sentinels, the giant mutant-hunting robots that are used to wipe out all of Homo sapiens superior. There has been evidence both for and against this theory, from the mustache that Dinklage is sporting in this image to the fact that Trask was already played by Bill Duke in X-Men: The Last Stand. It will probably be a while until we find out who the Game of Thrones star will be playing in the movie, but today one thing has been made certain: Trask is definitely involved in the story.
Director Bryan Singer has Tweeted the latest image from the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past, and as you can see above, it appears to be the work uniform of somebody who works at Trask Industries. The shot came along with the message, "Craft Service #xmen #daysoffuturepast," which doesn't really add anything to the photo. It is worth mentioning that the symbol for the company does look oddly similar to the appearance of the Sentinels in the comics.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently in front of cameras and is getting prepped for a July 18, 2015 release date. In addition to Dinklage the film also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bing Bing, and, most recently added, Evan Peters as Quicksilver.
