ABC’s gearing up for the NBA finals by bringing back the primetime special Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night. The special is set to begin airing on Thursday, June 3rd.

ABC made the announcement today, including the following schedule for the special:

Thursday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m., ET/CT
Sunday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m., ET/CT
Tuesday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m., ET/CT
Thursday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m., ET/CT
Sunday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m., ET/CT (if necessary)
Tuesday, June 15 at 8:00 p.m., ET/CT (if necessary)
Tuesday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m., ET/CT (if necessary)

As ratings were up from the first year’s Game Night specials to last year’s, it’s no surprise that ABC hopes this year’s line-up will do just as well or better. Game Night features Kimmel as he interviews notable guests (previous guests included President Barack Obama, David Beckham and Magic Johnson). This year’s line-up is set to include 2009 NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant, 2009 NBA MVP LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. ABC also promises appearances by some of Hollywood’s biggest basketball fans.
