Betty White’s been taking TV by storm and her recent job on TV Land’s new comedy series Hot in Cleveland certainly isn’t the end the line for her big comeback. If you’re a fan of Community and you love Betty White, we have good news for you!

NBC announced today that the former Golden Girls star is set to make a guest appearance on the season premiere of Community. Betty White will join the cast of Community when the series debuts its second season this fall to play the role of Professor June Bauer, “an esteemed, but slightly unhinged anthropology professor.”

White has been making us laugh for years but more recently, she allowed herself to be tackled in a Snickers commercial, appeared as the host for Saturday Night Live (earning herself an Emmy nomination for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series) and most recently, playing a role in TV Land’s comedy series Hot in Cleveland. Given how fearless she is as a comedian, I have no doubt that she’ll be able to make us laugh again when she appears in Community this fall.
