The Vampire Diaries Preview: Season 3 Premieres Tonight

More drama awaits in Mystic Falls and tonight, The CW will bring back The Vampire Diaries for its third season. The video ahead offers a look at what’s to come as things pick up in the episode titled “The Birthday.” Someone’s missing, people are looking and someone is seeing dead dead people.



I’m only partway through the first season of TVD thanks to a random impulse buy (and a really good deal at Amazon). Now I have to decide, do I skip Season 2 and jump into Season 3 when it premieres tonight? Or do I stay the course and hope that either Netflix will offer Season 2 streaming, or Amazon will drastically drop the price? Fans? You’d know better than I. How good is Season 2 and is it worth falling further behind in the series?
