This Video Gives New Meaning to the Phrase 'Don't Try This At Home'

Daredevils aren’t made, they’re born ... at least I think they are. I have no scientific or biological studies to back this theory up, other than to just assume any rational human being would not risk their life swinging around on a pole hundreds of feet off the ground or balancing on a plank suspended between two buildings without taking the consequences into consideration. Then again, what do I know? I am by no means a daredevil. The closest thing I’ve gotten to risking life and limb involved a roller coaster, to which I was very much strapped in via safety harness.
The reason I bring this up is due to a video currently making the rounds online. The two-minute clip––preceded by a handy “PLEASE DON’T RECREATE THIS MIGHT BE DANGEROUS FOR LIFE” warning––compiles footage of an unnamed thrill seeker jumping around and hanging off the sides of buildings, trains, and other structures just for the hell of it. He is also doing it without a safety harness. Take a look:
After a little digging I found an entire website devoted to this anonymous daredevil, known only as Mustang Wanted. According to the Daily Mail, he is 26 years old, hails from the Ukraine, and is a former legal adviser. “'Death is not the worst thing that can happen. Everyone dies, but not everyone lives the way they want,” Mustang Wanted told the Daily Mail while, I presume, holding on to the side of a bridge with his fingertips. “If you are afraid of everything, you must live in a sterile laboratory.”
That’s actually a pretty awesome quote, and exactly what you’d expect from a guy who’s not too bothered about the thought of dying. So keep doing your thing, Mustang Wanted. I will just be sitting here, watching you from the safety of my comfy computer chair.
