Django Unchained Gets Four More Character Posters
The first character poster for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained made its way online this morning featuring the visage of Christopher Waltz's Dr. King Schultz, but in a flash four more pieces have arrived showing off the talented cast that includes Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson. Scope out the artwork below.
The posters were discovered by Scannain and if you head over to their site you can see the posters in their highest definition (which, I must say, I highly recommend).
While I wasn't a big fan of the poster from earlier today - I thought the framing was a bit odd and there was too much negative space on the right side- but I think these are great. The high resolution, sharpness and great lighting in the images highlight the awesome colors, but there's also a strange sense of grittiness to them. Well done.
Django Unchained, which is due out Christmas day, stars Foxx as the titular escaped slave who teams up with a German bounty hunter (Waltz) to hunt down the plantation owner (DiCaprio) who owns Django's wife, Broomhilda (Washington). The brilliant supporting cast also includes Walton Gogins, Don Johnson, James Remar, Jonah Hill, Amber Tamblyn, Zoe Bell, Tom Savini, M.C. Gainey, Franco Nero and many more. The new trailer for the movie premiered earlier this month and you can click THIS LINK to see it.
