Fox Preview Photos
The new year approaches, which means studios that have finished blowing their 2004 wad are already looking on to 2005. First up to the plate is Fox, who released their first round of preview images for their 2005 slate of films. I’m not going to bore you with Because of Winn Dixie pics, bad enough that I had to look at them. Instead I’m picking and choosing the best ones that I think you’ll like. Trust me, it’s better this way.
First up are two pics from Revenge of the Sith. They aren’t exactly new or surprising, but they sure are clear and pretty. The Star Wars prequels always look better when the characters aren’t talking. ![]()
Next is a nice little pic from the upcoming CGI movie Robots. The animation marks a real improvement in slickness since Fox’s last 3D animated effort, but the trailer didn’t do much to sell me on the story.
The current theory on the CB Forum is that Elektra is in fact a Mortal Kombat sequel. One whose heroine has great abs and looks damn good in red.
With biopics all the rage, Joaquin Phoenix is starring in Walk the Line, a biopic on the man in black, Johnny Cash. ![]()
This one is exciting only because it’s the first thing I’ve seen anywhere from the Untitled Mike Judge Project. Will it get a title? Your guess is as good as mine.
I’m in the mood for a good crusade movie. Ridley Scott tries to fill the bill with Kingdom of Heaven. This is the only set of pictures here that really excited me. I don’t think I’ve seen even a glimpse of the movie anywhere till now. Orlando Bloom actually looks sort of manly. No mean feat. Bring on the infidels. ![]()
