Joseph Gordon-Levitt And Bruce Willis Face Off In Incredible New Looper Trailer
It was only yesterday that we got to see the new international trailer for Rian Johnson's Looper and it truly blew us all away. While we've been excited about the Brick director's next film ever since it was announced, with each new bit of footage we see the movie looks better and better. And lucky for us there is plenty of new featured in the most recent domestic trailer.
Yahoo! has posted the new preview which you can watch below.
This movie looks uncontrollably awesome. I love the fact that they are acknowledging the messiness of time travel ("Do you know what's going to happen? You done all this already?") and the style looks unique and unlike anything we've seen from Johnson before. If the full movie can live up to the potential of the trailer then we should be in for a real treat.
Set in the not-too-distant future, the film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Joe, a young man who works for a crime syndicate as a Looper. In the future criminals send their marks back in time 30 years where Joe is waiting to kill them and collect his money. But when the mob tries to close the loop by sending an older version of Joe (Bruce Willis) back in time, the older version manages to escape and young Joe is forced to track him down. Based on an original screenplay by Johnson, the movie also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Jeff Daniels, Piper Perabo, Garret Dillahunt, and Tracie Thoms. Looper hits theaters on September 28th, but until then you can see more from the movie in our Blend Film Database.
