The release of Inglourious Basterds this weekend signified the official end of the summer movie season. Kids are headed back to school and in theaters the next few weeks are going to be kind of a wasteland. Except maybe, if we’re lucky, for 9, Shane Acker’s beautifully animated movie about stitched together dolls which come to life in a post-apocalyptic world.
