I Love The Smell Of Blu-Ray In The Morning: Apocalypse Now Goes High Def

Apocalypse Now is one of those movies that has been released umpteen times over the years and across various formats, so the only surprising thing about it coming to Blu-ray is that it took this long. Lionsgate is releasing both a two-disc Blu-ray and the even fancier three-disc "Full Disclosure Edition" October 19th.

What comprises a "Full Disclosure Edition," you might ask. Well, both options will include the original cut of the movie alongside the Apocalypse Now Redux version from a few years back, but "Full Disclosure" will also throw in the noted Heart of Darkness making-of documentary, as well as a collectible booklet, extra bonus features, and more goodies. If you want to be fully disclosed, you'll have to pony up $59.99, as opposed to $39.99 for the regular two-disc set. We've got the full specs below, plus a trailer highlighting the release.
