Superbowl Movie Trailers Sneak Peek

If you’re like me, you only really watch the Superbowl for the commercials. Word on the street is that this year’s batch of commercials may be the most… lackluster ever. Big companies are spending less money than ever on exorbitant Superbowl advertisements, and that means less entertainment than ever between snaps. Bummer.

So if you’re not keen on sitting through ten hours of men in padded tight pants just to get to a few movie trailers, then don’t. Disney has already released both of their movie trailer Superbowl ads online. The good news is that they’re running two trailers instead of the predicted one. The bad news is that neither of the trailers shows you anything that you haven’t already seen before.

First up is their Superbowl trailer for Wild Hogs. If there’s a perfect movie to advertise during the most manly television event of the year, then this is it. Middle aged dudes trying to recapture the glory days by riding on the back of an engine with wheels. That’s perfect for a pigskin Sunday. Here’s the Wild Hogs Superbowl trailer:

Disney is also releasing a trailer for their next and final (Pixar is taking over all their CGI activities) 3-D computer animated movie Meet the Robinsons. The fact that they’re spending the cash necessary to pimp it during the big game ought to tell you how much of a family event the whole Superbowl thing has become. If you’re a hardcore Bears fan, that probably pisses you off. Just close your eyes during this trailer when it runs on Sunday:
