Community Cooperative Escapism In Familial Relations Clip Shows A Spontaneous Burst Of Music

Family has occasionally played its part in the lives of the characters in Community, and that applies to this week's episode. The title of the episode, "Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations" hints at that, and the clip we have to show you from Thursday's episode reveals which member of the study group (that rarely studies) will be dealing with "familial relations," and how that inspires one character to bust out a rap.

James Brolin will guest star in this week's episode of Community, playing Jeff's estranged father. The fact that Jeff is on the outs with dear old Dad doesn't surprise me, nor does Britta's interest in helping him work them out, as evidenced by her reaction in the clip below.

The characters really should burst into song more often. Points to Britta for keeping some musical accompaniment queued up just in case, and points to Troy and Abed for sliding right into the tune. You can always count on those two to join in on the weirdness when it presents itself.

Here's the official description for the episode, which airs March 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
