James Franco, Lena Dunham And Seth MacFarlane To Appear In Iconoclasts Season 6 On Sundance

Beginning next week, Sundance will bring their Interview series Iconoclasts back for its sixth season. Along with Grey Goose Entertainment, Sundance has a host of interesting celebrities lined up for Season 6. Among them are James Franco, Norah Jones, Seth MacFaralane and Lena Dunham.

Lena Dunham made a splash with her new HBO comedy series Girls, which offers an honest and humorous take on the young women of her generation. Dunham, who not only created the series but also stars in it, seems like the perfect candidate to be featured on Sundance's Iconoclasts, which pairs two creative visionaries from different fields in each episode, allowing us to twee them discuss their lives, influences and passions with one another for our entertainment and education.

In addition to Dunham, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, actor James Franco, Serbian performance artist Marina Abramovic, model Christy Turlington, musician Norah Jones, chef/food activist Jamie Oliver, philanthropist Tory Burch and director/screenwriter Judd Apatow are all set to be featured this season on the series. Check out the trailer below for a look at Season 6.

Here's the list of episodes:

ICONOCLASTS: James Franco + Marina Abramovic - Tuesday, October 9th at 8:00pm

ICONOCLASTS: Judd Apatow + Lena Dunham - Tuesday, October 16th at 8:00pm

ICONOCLASTS: Seth MacFarlane + Norah Jones - Tuesday, October 23rd at 8:00pm

ICONOCLASTS: Christy Turlington Burns + Tory Burch - Tuesday, October 30th at 8:00pm

ICONOCLASTS: Jamie Oliver + Paul Smith - Tuesday, November 6th at 8:00pm

There are definitely some connections worth noting between some of the pairs. For example, Judd Apatow executive produces Dunham's Girls. And Norah Jones appeared in MacFarlane's comedy Ted. So I'm thinking at least some of these people should already be a bit familiar with one another, which is probably a good thing if the point is to open up with one another.
